Roller bits, as a tool for drilling rock formations, have been widely used. The significant improvement in bit performance directly reduces drilling costs
Roller bits, as a tool for drilling rock formations, have been widely used. The significant improvement in bit performance directly reduces drilling costs, especially in the past decade where progress has been the fastest. Composed of more than 20 components such as cutting structure, bearing structure, locking element, oil storage sealing device, nozzle device, etc., a roller cone is a cone on which teeth are mounted (or milled).
The customer is currently using imported cutting tools to process roller ball grooves and locking grooves, and the unit cost of the workpiece is too high. They hope we can help them solve this problem.
On site, R1.5 and R2 groove cutters are used for precision machining of roller ball grooves and locking grooves. The difficulty with the blades lies in the hardness of the workpiece material, high surface roughness requirements, and the absence of wave patterns and small steps. During precision machining, there is a large margin, and the clamping rigidity of the machine tool is insufficient, which can easily cause vibration patterns during machining; The toughness of the cutting tool should be good, and there should be no small dents during processing, otherwise it will cause the workpiece to have steps.
These issues have high requirements for the performance of CBN tool materials and the processing methods of cutting edges.
